The 2009 season was a great success for the Chester County Wizards 11U team capped by placing 5th in the Mid Atlantic AAU tournament in Thorofare, NJ. The Wizards 11U team competed against many of the best AAU programs on the east coast and the team was recognized for their strong defense and aggressive wide open offensive play. The team played in eight tournaments from March through June and finished with a 17-11 overall record. Our club looks forward to more success in 2010.

Greg McCloskey has been coaching youth sports in the Chester County area since 1998 and with the Wizards for the past three seasons. Greg has been a long time coach with the Saints Simon and Jude CYO program in West Chester as well as the West Chester Lighting basketball program, West Chester Junior Basketball and the Malvern league. Greg also coaches baseball at Saints Simon and Jude and the Great Valley Little League.

George Monastra has coached with the Wizards for 3 years. He has also coached several CYO sport teams at St Maximilian Kolbe including Basketball, Football and Baseball. He also serves as a commissioner for the West Chester Lightning girls basketball organization.
